Privacy Policy

01Information we collect
We collect only what the service requires to operate. When you subscribe, we collect your email address and issue you an access token. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details. If you create alerts, we store the alert's trigger conditions and the delivery destination you provide (an email address or Telegram handle). If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store the email address you provide for that purpose.
02Usage data from the plugin
When your AI assistant calls AlphaSignal, we receive and log the tool request — including the question asked, the securities referenced, and any screening or strategy parameters — for rate-limiting, abuse prevention, and the improvement of the service. This usage data is associated with your access token, not with your name or identity, and it is analyzed in de-identified form. We do not receive your conversations with your AI assistant; those remain between you and your AI provider under that provider's privacy policy.
03Brokerage data
If you choose to connect a brokerage account, your positions, balances, and order details are processed only as necessary to respond to your requests and to stage orders you explicitly confirm. Authentication takes place through your broker's own authorization flow; we never receive or store your brokerage credentials, and we never hold funds or securities.
04What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not share your email address with advertisers or build advertising profiles. We do not use your queries or your portfolio data to trade for our own account.
05Cookies and analytics
The website uses privacy-respecting analytics to measure aggregate traffic, and only the cookies or local storage necessary for the service to function — for example, retaining your token during checkout. We do not engage in cross-site tracking.
06Service providers
We rely on a small number of processors to operate the service: Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, and our hosting and infrastructure providers for serving the site and plugin. If you connect a brokerage, the connection is established through your broker and its aggregation partner. Your AI provider (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) processes your conversations independently. Each of these parties operates under its own privacy policy.
07Retention and deletion
We retain account data for the duration of your subscription and for a reasonable period afterwards as required for billing and legal records. De-identified usage data may be retained to improve the service. To request deletion of your account data, reply to your welcome email from your account address; we will honor the request subject to records we are legally required to keep.
08Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will post the updated version here with a revised “last updated” date. Questions and requests can be raised by replying to your welcome email.
