01The service
AlphaSignal is a research service delivered as an MCP plugin/connector for AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude. A subscription provides your assistant with access to AlphaSignal's market-research capabilities — including analysis, screening, tracking, valuation, and alerting — together with optional read and trade access to a brokerage account you choose to connect. The service interprets publicly available market data and returns model-generated analysis. By purchasing a subscription, activating an access token, or otherwise using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
02Not investment advice
AlphaSignal is information, not advice. Nothing the service produces is a recommendation to buy or sell any security, and AlphaSignal is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer. Conviction scores, theses, and valuations are model-generated opinions that can be wrong. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions, and you should consult a licensed professional before making them. See our full disclosures for more.
03Brokerage connection and trading
Connecting a brokerage is optional. When you do, order requests made through your AI are staged with an explicit confirmation step and executed by your own broker on your own account — AlphaSignal never holds your funds, your securities, or your brokerage password. You are responsible for every order you confirm, including mistaken, mistyped, or AI-misunderstood ones. Market, connectivity, or broker-side failures can delay or reject orders; don't use the service for anything where execution timing is critical.
04Subscriptions, billing, and no refunds
AlphaSignal is sold as an annual subscription billed through Stripe. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel first; you can cancel anytime and keep access until the period ends. All sales are final: no refunds, in whole or in part, including for unused time. Prices may change, but never mid-term — any change applies from your next renewal. Referral rewards are promotional, non-transferable, and may be adjusted or withdrawn if abused.
05Your token and acceptable use
Your access token is personal. Keep it secret, don't share or resell it, and don't use the service to build a competing dataset, hammer the API with automated bulk extraction, or do anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms; terminated access is not refunded.
06Data and availability
The service depends on public data sources, brokerage aggregators, and third-party AI platforms we don't control. We work to keep data timely and the plugin available, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability. Filings can be amended or wrong at the source, 13F positions are inherently delayed, and AI assistants can misstate our output.
07Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlphaSignal is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, missed or failed orders, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
08Intellectual property
The AlphaSignal name, logo, scoring methodology, and all site content belong to us. Underlying public filings belong to the public. You may use the service's output for your own research and share excerpts with attribution; you may not republish it wholesale or present it as your own product.
09Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
